Gloria: Classical Music for Reflection and
Meditation
![]()
Sometimes a sampler of music from various artists &
composers will have a few really great selections, a few good ones, and one or
two you couldn’t care less about. Not so GLORIA. From its rousing opening title
"Gloria" by composer Vivaldi, to the exquisite Palestrina, the
sublime construction of Lassus & Byrd, soaring with Handel, Bach, Mozart
& concluding with the more contemporary Fauré--every single track is pure
bliss. This is a great source for other people seeking to expand their
knowledge & appreciation of classical music. And at such a price in these
days of inflation, you can't miss.
I almost forgot to mention: This is the 4th CD I've explored with the NAXOS
label, and each one has been wonderful.
