Janis Ian was a revelation in the 60's folk scene as something of
a prodigy with SOCIETY'S CHILD that became an overnight cult classic. BETWEEN
THE LINES was another revelation in the 70's when the rush of youth turned to a
slower, sadder pace. However the lyrics also became more mature, the music
deeper with a more expansive resonance. No self-respecting CD library is
complete without the inclusion of Janis Ian.
